Whitetail Farm is a working farm in Lanark Highlands. Its current owners are just the third family to live there since Scottish settlers arrived in the 1820s.

Cross-country Skiing

Whitetail Farm has twelve kilometres of cross-country ski trails, criss-crossed through four hundred and fifty rolling acres of field and forest. The wide clear trails provide an interesting mix of terrain that's suitable for all levels of skiiers.

The Nordic ski experience at Whitetail Farm offers a tranquil natural setting with local flora and fauna, and photo opportunities at every turn.

What does it cost to ski at Whitetail Farm?

The cost is $15 for adults. Children twelve and under ski for free.

When are you open?

We are open 7 days a week as conditions allow.

What are your opening hours?

Skiing is from dawn to dusk. You should plan your trip to be out of the bush by dark.

Do I sign in and out?

Yes. Sign in and out is required for safety. You'll see the sign-in station near the parking behind the barn.

What about snowshoeing?

Snowshoers are welcome.

Can I bring my dog?

No. For the welfare of livestock and other skiiers, we cannot allow pets.
